christchurch earthquake reflection
Christchurch Earthquake
Plates
I am here alone
I am small yet I am powerful
I am amazing
But I am lonely
I am the one that is empty inside
I am the one that caused chaos like
I am the one that’s heart is broken
I am the one running from what I caused
I am the one with tears emerging
I am the one who suffers guilt
I am grief
The lost
We fell to our knees
Yet our living love lifted us up
The cars sank like a rock in the water
Yet our love kept us up
We were lost
But our love helped us find our way
We were gone
Yet our love kept us alive
We may not be here
But our love kept us here
We may have had our final breath
But our shall keep us going longer
This talks about the sadness and life’s lost in the Christchurch
Underline means I changed it to add language features such
as simile and more.
Green and red were already there.
as simile and more.
Harrier Hawk reflection
Harrier Hawk
For fix’s
For better words
The man sat atop the castle it wasn’t much of a hassle
And rrrp pepepepepee the harrier hawk said
The man was ignorant he made bad decisions and would suffer crucial consequences.
And rrrp pepepepepee the harrier hawk said
The man was all the way at the top but his rank started to fall past all.
And rrrp pepepepepee the harrier hawk said
His castle was gone from his reach he tried to get in but the door was locked.
And rrrp pepepepepee the harrier hawk said
The man had reached the bottom he had everything but now it was gone because what he had done was wrong.
And rrrp pepepepepee the harrier hawk said
Now he is gone when his name is mentioned no one knows who he was or where he ventured.
And rrrp pepepepepee the harrier hawk said
Reflection: This shows what can happen when the king made decisions he didn’t think he’d have to face his consequences he suffered them frightfully
I used this because I didn’t think it made sense otherwise
I added these because I thought there should be better words

Seperation poem
Separation poem
I miss them
I miss my parents
I miss having them here
I miss everything
My parents left to travel to my other family
While I’m still here in wellington alone
But I presupposed they’d have returned soon
I wish they were here I wish I could trust them to be back yet they took that like all there other gear
I am stuck in this house while the others talk
About construction and its regulation of houses
The others said they’d totes be back quickly.

Paper planes
Paper planes
I give myself Relational
Angus:
I got the idea from a video on youtube could not find the video again
I made the wing more narrow and also the nose more straight this helped it go a little longer. I made the modification For better trajectory. I made the modification to help keep it going straight. It went well and the plane flew straight. Because of the modifications, it flew a lot more it reached 5.4m.
I give myself relational because I don’t think my work is enough for extended abstract
Angus: I give Zayvier relational

New Years eve Poem
New year eve poem
hundreds of fireworks light the dark night sky
I sit patiently paused pondering for the new year
Eyes shut down body failing
The noise of what sounds like hundreds of little rockets going off
This has been done for about 20yrs
It takes as long as a giraffe's neck to turn from 8 to 12
Waiting for time to change to 12 felt like it took 4 years
The adults are out I am the only one awake
The night drags on as I have coffee filled awakeness
The night stay’s still like a statue
Darkness drags the dimly lit daylight
Fireworks have stopped now darkness has gone
The new day has started
It feels like it has taken 12 years till this day

Term Review
My Term Review
I have enjoyed this term because I found my classes to be really amazing and just really enjoyable learning and had a lot of awesome experiences.
I did have a few bad experiences that made me nervous like some experiments that seemed hard but it was only 2 times.
I found learning about the universe very interesting and doing science experiments I learned things like how most metals won't react to water and copper doesn't react to water at all.
I would like to do more acid experiments.

Metals and Water
Metals and Water
First, we make sure that there was nothing on the metal so we sandpapered it and put it into some cold water first and then heated it after calcium reacted while everything else was boring nothing happened.
Calcium reacted the most it ended up rising up then fell again but when we heated the water it little did we know it would rise again and really bubble up. Copper did not react at all no matter if the water was hot or cold.
